Mother's Day Poem

Because of you there is me, So thank you for the birth you've given

Even the smallest scratch on my knee,

You'll be my nurse and take good care

Sometimes I do, make some mistakes

And sometimes you punish me too much

But when you cook the beef steaks

I feel much, much better

Still, you're always there when I'm sad

ALways trying to cheer me up

TImes I get really mad

You'll sit down and ask what's wrong

This is why you are my mom

You're the one I don' regret

I've always loved you, and I always will

Experiences with you I will never forget

The Day Before Little Anne's Marriage

She lay in bed, Little Anne

Tomorrow is her special day

She hated the fact that she was forced to marry

The man whose name was awfully grey

It included all the letters in the English language

With the weirdest combination you could possibly find

Though Little Anne hates his name

He was very, very, very kind

Tomorrow she has to marry this man

And she can’t get it off her head

She has to spend her life with him

Until she drops stone dead

Little Anne wasn’t a nice girl

And she didn’t want to marry this odd man

She thought until the clock hit 12

Lastly she came up with an evil plan

Finally the day had come

Little Anne held a sharp silver knife

She sneaked into her fiancé’s room

And she quietly took away his life

The poem that I’m writing is just a poem like anybody else’s

It’s a poem, just a poem so it’s nothing really special

You may think I’m not making sense

But a poem is just a poem

Poems show people’s feelings

Like anger, depression, or love

Poems can also tell stories

Like fairy tales, fiction, myths

There are many other different ways

That poems are made or written

But I want to make it clear to you

That poem is just a poem

I love you

Since the day you dumped me,

My life is messed up,

Everyday was a glee,

Now it’s all the past

 

I wanted you to stay,

But you’ve already moved on,

I cry everyday,

Thinking what I’ve done wrong

 

I know I’m not the one for you,

I know you don’t like me no more,

But you are the only one for me,

And you’ve always been the one for me

 

Though this was 3 years ago,

I still miss you and wish you were here,

The times we spent together,

Will always be my happiest days

 

Remember the time we just sat and talked?

Remember the day we first held hands?

Remember the small fights we constantly had?

Remember the view of the night sky with no stars?

Remember the movie that gave you nightmares?

Remember the days staying up late talking?

Remember failing tests together?

Remember the birds I was scared of?

Remember the fries with too much salt?

These memories will never disappear

 

There are a lot of things you’ve done,

That hurts me even now just to think,

But what hurts the most is seeing you at school,

And you ignoring me as I don’t exist

 

Every single thing reminds me of you,

Even the smallest pebble on the ground,

I try so hard to move on,

But I somehow can’t just forget you

 

I hate seeing you all happy and okay,

Joking around like nothing had happened,

When I can’t even sleep at night,

Just thinking about you and our past

 

We used to be a team,

But now we’re not,

And I regret not taking the courage,

To simply tell you, “I love you”

I hate you

I hate you because you lie,
and because you never care
I hate you because you act tough,
when you're tearing inside your heart
I hate you because you are a player,
and move on from girls to girls
I hate you because you just destroyed,
my fairly ordinary life
I hate you because you are selfish,
and you never share
I hate you because you hurt others,
that did nothing bad to you
But the biggest reason I hate you,
is because I still like you.
